Hydrating face masks for the girls – home recipes

While some girls are crying their eyes out about how oily their skin is, others are buying every moisturizer to suit their dry as sand skin. Regardless of which skin type you have, hydration is an absolute necessity. Learn how to do that right by whipping up very simple hydrating face masks with ingredients from your kitchen.
Word of caution: The masks should be tested at the back of your hand 24 hours prior to applying on your face to test for allergies. If you see any sign of rashes or redness, do not use the mask on your face.
Instructions:
  • In general, it is advised not to apply face masks more than thrice a week.
  • Wash off face mask residue thoroughly before going to bed or stepping outside. Use plenty of water splashes. Preferably cold water unless it is specifically mentioned to use lukewarm water.
  • Always follow up face masks with moisturizers (check coconut oil as face moisturizer). For dry skin you can use heavy creams or olive oil, for normal skin, use a cream suited according to the weather and for oily skin types, you should be using moisturizing gels or oil free moisturizing lotions.
  • When applying the face masks, take care to keep the pack off your lips and around the delicate skin of your eyes.
